Finally, one of those games that doesnt appeal to the young new massive generation and asks for a more strategic approach. Niaki is simple to learn, yet extremely difficult to master and completely addictive. A Rubiks Cube for the new age
Some bad moments
Really clever puzzle game. It will take you a couple of play throughs to learn what moves are allowed, but it is very rewarding once you understand. The highest Ive got so far is 75%. Solid app. There is a banner ad at the top - but there aren’t interstitials and your gameplay is never interrupted. You can pay for extra undos which I haven’t used so far. Otherwise its free and if you like puzzle games you should download it now.
So, I like this concept a lot, but the developer really need to improve user controls. Its often wayyyyy too hard to get two segment that ought to connect to move. Pretty often, Ill try a move, have it fail repeatedly, ask for a hint, and then be told to do exactly what Id just been attempting. Makes gameplay v difficult if you have to shove a section over and over again to get it to move. Better responsiveness would be a huge improvement
